Terms of sale and website use

Products and prices

We sell clothing bales and individual clothing, including new and second-hand stock sourced from Europe, India and America. Read each listing for the weight, quantity, condition and price. Assorted bale contents vary. Photos may be representative where identified; request current stock photos before ordering. Prices are in South African rand. Freight costs are confirmed before payment.

Orders and payment

Check items, quantities, contact details and collection or delivery arrangements before submitting an order. Save your confirmation and invoice. Use only payment methods presented at checkout or details on an official Bale Vault invoice. We will contact you about availability or order issues and arrange an appropriate solution or refund under applicable law.

Pickup and delivery

50kg assorted bales are opened, sorted and repackaged from mixed-bale stock; allow a couple of days for preparation. Free warehouse pickup is usually ready in 2–4 days. Wait for your ready notification and arrange a collection time before travelling.

Bale delivery is quoted before payment based on destination, quantity, packed weight and dimensions. Send your town or suburb, postcode, bale type and quantity for a quote. Your invoice will include agreed freight costs. International bale deliveries also require a quote. Free standard shipping for individual clothing does not apply to bales. Courier transit starts after dispatch; we confirm delivery arrangements and communicate delays.

Returns and privacy

Our Returns and Refunds Policy and Privacy Policy apply. Voluntary returns outside statutory rights receive a 70% refund where lawful. A verified bale in which all clothing was supplied damaged qualifies for a full refund; statutory remedies also apply to qualifying individual defective goods.

Nothing in these terms limits rights under applicable South African consumer law, including online cancellation rights where applicable. Contact us to resolve order, delivery or return enquiries. Updates to these terms do not remove rights relating to previous orders.
